Subrat Kulshrestha, Advocate

A Law graduate from Symbiosis Law College, University of Poona (1991), India and with a BSc Physics (Hons) degree from N.Wadia College, Pune, Kulshrestha pursued legal career alongside seafaring for 8 years with Barber Ship Management. He is a Member Advocate with Bar Council of Delhi since1993. Handling matters related to shipping business and corporate law, his forte is offering advice on insurance-related matters to corporate clients. Before joining the Firm, he worked with leading ship management companies in Hong Kong and Singapore as Head of Law and Insurance. Prior to this, he worked with a shipping company in India as Legal Manager, where he provided legal support to the organization in shipping business and other related matters.

K. Gangadharan, Advocate

Graduated in Law from University of Calicut, Gangadharan enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 1992. He associated with Mr. M.C. Garg, Advocate, who is presently an Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Delhi. He established individual practice that developed into a law firm dealing in almost all areas of Law.

Sandhya Pillai, Advocate

Sandhya Pillai has been associated with the shipping industry for about 20 years. She specializes in P&I insurance, crew claims and other shipping disputes, having worked as a Club correspondent and headed the regional office of a P&I Club. Her knowledge of shipping matters comes not only from working in the Industry but also from having sailed for 11 long years.

Sandhya has a Masters in English literature from Mumbai University and a law degree with a specialization in maritime law from the same university. She also has a professional diploma in Shipping Management from Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping and a qualification in Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) from the Indian Institute of Arbitration.

Abhijeetam, Advocate

A Law Graduate from CCS University, Meerut, India and with PGDIM (Operations & Finance) from Symbiosis Pune & Post Graduate diploma in Shipping management (NMIS Mumbai), pursued legal career after a successful career of around 16 years at Sea (including 3 years command experience in Maersk Tankers) & around 2.0 years of experience ashore in Chartering/ Commercial operations & Claims management. He is a member advocate with bar council of Delhi and is handling matters related to shipping business & corporate law. He specializes in contracts, claims & insurance related matters and has worked in legal department of a Singapore based Shipping Company for around 1.8 years.”
